History:
(X-Statix Presents: Dead Girl#1 (fb) - BTS) - Richard Young went to medical school with Strange and became a psychiatrist.
Richard heard about the accident that cost Strange the use of his hands and medical career.
Richard built a family with a wife and two children.
He worked hard, earned money, but hardly spoke to his wife anymore.
Wong talked Strange into going to a psychiatrist because he was depressed and made an appointment with Dr. Richard Young.
(X-Statix Presents: Dead Girl#1 - BTS) - Wong called Dr. Richard Young to tell him that Strange was getting worse and that they had to move the appointment forward.
(X-Statix Presents: Dead Girl#1) - Wong accompanied Strange to his appointment with Young. Doctor Young introduced himself and recognized Strange from medical school. Richard took him into his office so they could catch up and talk about the reason why Strange was depressed. Richard listened to Strange for some time and didn't understand why Strange was depressed because his life was so unusual and fascinating, but Strange felt like the loneliest man on the planet and his life wasn't as much fun as Richard believed. He explained to Richard that he couldn't even look at a woman like a normal man because he was only interested in her aura. Strange envied Richard because he had a family and a real life unlike him, but Richard considered it boring because he just worked to earn money, had problems with his wife and was sure his children would hate him in a couple of years. He wasn't sure why Strange would like that kind of life. Strange noticed a blockage in Richard's life-force caused by a transient minor demon that had entered him many lives ago, which was the reason why Richard couldn't enjoy his life and cause a heart attack in eight years and six months. Strange cleansed Richard of the demon presence by invoking the Vishanti and Oshtur. The demon left through Richard's orifices as smoke.
(X-Statix Presents: Dead Girl#1 - BTS) - Richard was cured, but Wong reminded Strange that the idea to take him to a psychiatrist was to cure Strange and not the other way around.
