History:
(Marvel Team-Up I#47) - Sgt. O'Rourke and another police officer were traveling down river in their police boat when the heroic Thing landed onto the boat, having been knocked off the edge of a cliff by the criminal Basilisk. When the Thing hit, destroying the police boat's engine in the process, a surprised Sgt. O'Rourke demanded to know what hit them and another officer informed that they appeared to have been boarded. Basilisk then flew over them on a levitating chunk of rock and O'Rourke spotted him, informing the Thing and noting that he didn't see the Thing's ally Spider-Man anywhere. He stopped mid-sentence when he spotted Spider-Man. Per Spider-Man's signals, O'Rourke got the stranded boat turned towards the cliff so the Thing could climb up the cliff and regroup with Spider-Man.

    Sgt. O'Rourke's eye color was impossible to determine, as the only closeup of his face had his eyes particularly obscured by a shadow from his hat (see above headshot image).
