History:
(Official Marvel Index to the Avengers II#3 - BTS) - Mr. Rockwell was the propreitor of the Cheery-O's Dude Ranch.
(Avengers I#161) - After getting a job at the Cheery-O's Dude Ranch in the modern era, the time-traveling Old West gunslinger Two-Gun Kid and modern era hero Hawkeye walked around the Ranch and when Two-Gun Kid heard a clacking sound, he got jumpy, only to find the sound emanating from "Old Man" Rockwell's push mower.
(Avengers I#162 (fb) - BTS) - At one point, Mr.
Rockwell received a phone call for Hawkeye that was explained as being
very important.
(Avengers I#162) - Having forgotten about the phone call, Mr.
Rockwell joined Hawkeye and Two-Gun Kid for poker. When Two-Gun Kid won
several hands and proclaimed that his pal Boom-Boom from 1873 had
taught him how to play, a confused Mr. Rockwell questioned the date
before remembering that he was supposed to deliver the message of the
phone call to Hawkeye. Noticing Rockwell looking perturbed, Hawkeye
asked what was wrong and Rockwell admitted he had forgotten to tell
Hawkeye about an important phone call. Not a bit worried about the
call, Hawkeye assured Rockwell that the caller would call back. He then
agreed to help Rockwell with the horses and asked Two-Gun Kid to take a
message if anyone called for him again.
