    History:

(Spider-Woman III#1 (fb) - BTS) - Police captain Ronald Parady was in
charge of New York's 43rd Precinct, which serves the southeast section
        of the Bronx.

(Spider-Woman III#1 (fb) - BTS) - The abduction of business tycoon Adam
Ramsey was the first in a series of CEO kidnappings over the course of
several weeks. The latest victim was Randolph Conroy. The police had no
idea who was behind the abductions or what the reasons were (the
culprit was Charlotte Witter, a crazed new Spider-Woman who fed off
          the blood of men).

(Spider-Woman III#1) - Parady had a tense meeting with detective Phil
Rodriguez in his office. The detective was worried what would happen if
the media got wind of the abductions and their complete lack of
progress. Parady wanted Rodriguez to come up with leads about the
kidnapper's identity. He reminded him that the description Conroy's
surviving security guard gave matched the 'spider-dame' that was running
around the city a week or so ago.

(Spider-Woman III#1) - When Rodriguez bemoaned the involvement of
'super-freaks', Parady came down hard on him. He insisted the detective
overlooked his personal feelings about superhumans, sometimes there is
stuff only they can do even if it seems they grab all the glory.
Rodriguez shot back that most of the times there wouldn't even be
super-powered creeps if they didn't have some kind of ax to grind with
'heroes'. Rodriguez left Parady's office to check out Conroy's office.

        (Spider-Woman III#1 - BTS) - Parady's lead paid off: Rodriguez
ultimately tracked down Spider-Woman and helped free the kidnapped CEOs.

Comments: Created by John Byrne, Bart Sears, Randy Elliot & Raymond Kryssing.
Captain Parady appeared in only in one issue of Spider-Woman,
though it would seem Byrne had bigger plans for his character and Phil
Rodriguez. A caption in #1 introduces them as 'two more members of our
growing cast'... But Parady was never seen again and Rodriguez
        disappears after #3.
