History:
(Marvel's Voices: Avengers#1 / 2 (fb)) - While trying to reunite with their fellow Avengers, Thor and Captain Marvel (Monica Rambeau) opted to take a wormhole to their teammates' location but upon entering the wormhole, Captain Marvel found herself surrounded by Kindorian Space Slugs. Despite Thor's caution not to fight against them, Captain Marvel swatted them aside, which only attracted more of the slugs to her. Thor explained how the Kindorian Space Slugs were attracted to kinetic energy as a food source that they used to reproduce but Captain Marvel panicked. Thor suggested Captain Marvel be still and do nothing and Captain Marvel did just that despite her fears, prompting the slugs to leave her alone.







(Marvel's Voices: Avengers#1 / 2) - Some years later, Monica Rambeau was asked to investigate a nuclear reactor that threatened to meltdown and when she entered the reactor in her energy form, she found a Kindorian Space Slug inside. Thinking she would never have to see one of the slugs again, Monica wondered how the slug had gotten there and departed the reactor to inform Dr. Janessa Kingston of their situation. Suggesting Dr. Kingston evacuate the area, Monica flew outside the reactor and blew up one of the cooling towers, attracting the Kindorian Space Slug to her location so she could absorb the energy it had devoured. Hugging the slug, Monica successfully the slug's excess energy before flying the slug back into outer space.
