into rage-filled powerhouse with super-strength comparable to
Spider-Ham's. His hands have transmuted into clothing irons that
discharge heated steam and heated surface (up to red-hot, skin-searing
level) at will. The steel-like surfaces of these iron-hoofs would be
bulletproof. His tusks have also sharpened since transformation.

Weight: 135lb. (as Ironing Boar); 92 lbs. (as Won-Ton)

History:
(Marvel Tales II#211/2 (fb) - BTS) - Won-Ton Warthog
ran a popular Chinese Laundry in Peter Porker's neighborhood. Won-Ton
wanted a basement for his business.
(Marvel Tales II#211/2) - Peter Porker picked up a
pressed set of shirts from Won-Ton, but Won-Ton found a loose button and
started sewing it back while the ironing press was still open. At that point,
the clumsy autograph-seeking adventurer Forbush Man was propelled across
realities from his own Earth-665 into Porker's Earth-8311, and he
accidentally squashed Won-Ton's head in between the steaming ironing
press. Already alerted by his spider-sense, Porker had changed into
his Spider-Ham costume to witness Won-Ton's transformation into the powerhouse
Ironing Boar from the accident. As Ironing Boar, Won-Ton relished his
newfound power, smashing a hole into his floor with his hands now
shaped like clothing irons. Rage filled Ironing Boar and he wanted to
become a major super-villain by flattening and searing Spider-Ham. Bumbling
interference from Forbush Man caused a bottle of starch to fall on
Ironing Boar, stopping the violent scoundrel from moving. Spider-Ham left him
there to return Forbush Man home.
Comments: Created by Michael Eury, Ron Zalme, Pierre Fournier.
Won-Ton also pressed Hulk Bunny's pants, as seen by a package under the counter ready for pick-up.
While Earth-8311 has some bizarre physics, this seems
a
bit too simplistic an origin for powers. Maybe there were unique
cleaning chemicals involved or extradimensional residues that mixed
with the
ironing press to cause Won-Ton's wild transformation. It's never
revealed if the effects were permanent or came out in the next wash.
