History:
(Rawhide Kid I#95 (fb)) - Riding across the border into the USA, Claude Dijon and his border raiders invaded a farm inhabited by Ann, her husband and her daughter Sally. When Ann's husband stepped up to defend their farm with a shotgun, Claude claimed to be touched by his gallantry, then drew a gun and shot him dead. Claude claimed Ann as his personal captive and had his men raid the farmhouse for spoils before burning it down. However, Ann's daughter Sally hid from the raiders.
(Rawhide Kid I#95) - Claude and his men rode back across the border into Canada where the rest of his gang waited at their hideout. When Claude's lover Angelique saw him ride up she objected to him taking on another woman, claiming she didn't share her man. Claude retorted "then perhaps I will no longer be your man!" Angelique tried to stab Ann with a knife but Claude disarmed her and told her to clear out of his camp. He sent his subordinate Crow to shadow Angelique's movements.
Later, the Rawhide Kid burst into Claude's camp in an effort to rescue Ann. The Kid killed one of Claude's men but another of Claude's followers shot the Kid and creased his skull with his bullet. Claude had the Rawhide Kid tied up.
Later, Crow returned to camp to inform Claude that Angelique had gone to the North-West Mounted Police to betray them. Claude hoped he might ambush the Mounties when they neared the hideout by lining his men along the sides of a canyon. However, while they were ambushing the Mounties, the Rawhide Kid freed himself and attacked Claude's men from behind, killing most of the gang. When the Kid faced Claude, Claude refused to face him in a gunfight, knowing how good the Kid was at armed combat. Consequently, the Kid put away his guns and beat Claude with his fists, finally knocking him over the canyon wall.
Mortally wounded from the fall, Claude was approached by Angelique who confessed to betraying him and begged his forgiveness. Claude replied it was too late for forgiveness and died from his injuries.

The North-West Mounted Police changed their name to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in 1920. They were primarily based in the Canadian west (in what's now the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, along with what are now the Yukon Territory and Northwest Territories); the U.S. territory Claude Dijon invaded could have been Montana.

Angelique was half-French Canadian, half-Native (likely Metis). She was Claude Dijon's lover and joined his gang in their work but she was left furious when Claude brought the woman Ann to their camp as a captive. Resenting Ann, Angelique tried to stab her with a knife but Claude disarmed her then banished her from his camp. Angelique went to the North-West Mounted Police and told them where to find Dijon's camp. The North-West Mounted Police killed most of the gang and Dijon fell from a cliff while fighting the Rawhide Kid. Running to Claude's side, Angelique explained she was "insane with jealousy" when she summoned the authorities and begged his forgiveness but before dying, Claude told her it was too late for forgiveness.

Crow was a member of Claude Dijon's gang of border raiders. He was evidently from a Canadian indigenous tribe. Claude sent Crow to shadow Angelique when she left their camp and Crow saw her go to the North-West Mounted Police. Crow returned to Claude to warn him of Angelique's treachery. Crow possibly died during the gang's shootout with the Rawhide Kid and the North-West Mounted Police.
