Traits: Bodies made entirely of wax. The Wax People had department stores and a law enforcement system remarkably similar to that of Earth.

Skin Color: Light pink

Powers/Abilities: Wax People could remain motionless for long periods of time. (see comments)

History: (Strange Tales I#93/4) - A Wax Man night watchman closed up shop in his department store while the store's mannequins left their pedestals. A police officer and a couple came into the store to reclaim a purse the Wax Woman left on the counter. The mannequins accidentally broke two pieces of merchandise while leaving, causing the watchman to scold them.

This was a difficult story to translate into a profile. The reader is initially led to believe that this story takes place on Earth, and the Wax People mannequins are made to seem threatening. In the end we learn they are normal citizens, and this was just a little slice of life story that took place on planet Xaccus.

Being made of wax may have given the Wax People certain limitations, such as being unable to withstand extreme heat, but this is purely speculative.

As with many 1950's and 1960's Marvel monster stories, this story is not confirmed as part of Earth-616 continuity, but there's nothing to exclude it either.
