Powers: Triax was an immense quadruped, nearly 100' in length. It possessed retractable eyestalks. Its torso was covered by a dense carapace. It could generate rocket thrust from out its feet, enabling it to fly, and would strike with great force, much like a battering ram. It could also project its rocket thrusters at others as an offensive weapon. Its powers were further enhanced, to an unkown degree by the Megan Energex Ray.
History: Like the other Mega-Monsters, Triax was taken from its native planet and forced into serving as a warrior against the Beta-Beasts, agents of the Betans. Nothing is known about Triax prior to its arrival on Earth, where it was sent by the Warlords of Mega, in a plan to conquer Earth to use for resources in the war against the Betans. The initial plan was to have the Mega Monsters wipe out the most powerful threats against takeover. Triax, was sent to battle Red Ronin, but when the Betans sent Godzilla to assist Ronin, the Megans sent the other two Mega Monster, Krollar and Rhiahn, against them as well.
After a somewhat even battle, Rhiahn succeeded in decapitating Red Ronin, incapacitating it. As Godzilla faced the three Monsters alone, the Megans further enhanced the powers of the Mega Monsters via their Energex Ray. Despite this increased power, the Monsters were unable to overcome the power of Godzilla. Triax was the second to fall when Godzilla blasted him out of the air with his radioactive fire.
