Kafka, Dr. Ashley Spectacular Spider-Man II #178 (1991) Psychologist who treated Vermin, helped Spider-Man through emotional difficulties, became director of Ravencroft Institute in attempt to treat deranged super-villains, victimized by Baron Heinrich Zemo, fired after the Chameleon's escape.

 

Kaine Web of Spider-Man #119 (1994) Flawed clone of Peter Parker with all of his powers, has random precognitive glimpses and scarring touch, roamed for five years, developed intense hatred of Ben Reilly, sought to protect Spider-Man by killing his enemies, fought Spider-Man, accepted responsibility for past crime blamed on Peter Parker.

 

Kala Tales of Suspense I #43 (1963) Queen of subterranean kingdom called the Netherworld, has warred against other Subterranean rulers such as the Mole Man, once involving Spider-Man and the Hulk at the Winter Olympics.

 

KalAOL Marville #1 (2002) Time traveler and would-be crimefighter from the fifty-first century; Traveled to a parallel Earth where that world's Spider-Man and the Punisher accompanied him and his friends Mickey and Lucy on a surreal encountered with an alleged Kingpin.

 

Kale, Jennifer Adventure into Fear #11 (1972) Young sorceress, helped by Spider-Man against D'Spayre, joined the Legion of Night to fight evil, worked with Howard the Duck and the Ghost Rider (Ketch).

 

Kali (Dr. Karen Lee) Marvel Team-Up Annual #1 (1976) Member of the Nest, emitted maddening sound from "chaos wheel," geologist.

 

Kane, Marcy (Kaina) Spectacular Spider-Man II #32 (1979) Extraterrestrial from Contraxia, posed as science graduate student at ESU alongside Peter Parker, whom she briefly dated; former lover of Jack of Hearts, revealed her true nature when she took him to Contraxia.

 

Kaneshiro Spectacular Spider-Man II #54 (1981) Leader of samurai band, employed by the Maggia to kill the Smuggler, fought Spider-Man.

 

Kang (Nathaniel Richards) Avengers I #8 (1964) Native of the fortieth century, ruler of many time eras, frequently clashes with the Avengers, has invaded the modern era several times with varying degrees of success; often opposed by temporal divergents of himself such as Immortus, Rama-Tut, and the Scarlet Centurion; built Timespinner; sent robot of himself to deal with Zarrko, Spider-Man, and others.

 

Kangaroo (Frank Oliver) Amazing Spider-Man I #81 (1970) Australian boxer, possesses seemingly mutant leaping power, became fugitive after accidentally killing an opponent, fled to America, fought Spider-Man, enhanced by Jonas Harrow, died attempting to steal radioactive isotope.

Kangaroo (Brian Hibbs) Spectacular Spider-Man II #242 (1997) Idolized Frank Oliver, attempted to fight Spider-Man both without and with specialized armor, being easily defeated both times, defeated again in the Legion of Losers, became baseball player but was expelled for his past, mutated into large muscular form, suffered mental deterioration, clashed with Tombstone and others in the super-prison called the Cage.

 

Kannon, Doris Marvel Fanfare I #42 (1989) Bank teller, fired when she inadvertently gave Peter Parker extra money; Spider-Man secretly left her some of his own money to prevent her from being evicted and blackmailed the bank manager into rehiring her.

 

Karma (Xi'an Coy Manh) Marvel Team-Up I #100 (1980) Vietnamese mutant, able to take possession of others, forced into service of her uncle General Coy for the safety of her siblings Leong and Nga; sought to possess Spider-Man, thinking he was a criminal, to defeat her uncle; drew attention of the Fantastic Four, rescued her siblings, forced to absorb her similarly-powered brother Tran into herself, became founding member of New Mutants.

 

Karnak Fantastic Four I #45 (1965) Member of the Inhuman royal family, able to detect weakness of any object or person, aided Spider-Man during clash between Zarkko and a Kang robot.

 

Karsano Amazing Spider-Man I #421 (1997) Operative of the True Believers, held title of Dragonfly prior to Meiko Yin, committed suicide after losing to her in combat.

 

Karsov, Maria Marvel Treasury Edition #25 (1980) Russian figure skater, given razor-sharp skates by Kala to fight the Water Witch.

 

Katos Spectacular Spider-Man Annual #8 (1988) Extraterrestrial mentor of the Young Gods, teaches defensive actions, accompanied faction which chose to prevent interference in the High Evolutionary's activities, encountered Spider-Man.

 

Katrobousis, Dick UK Spider-Man Annual (1982) Daily Bugle employee who phoned in to inform JJJ of the landing of Starngore's "spaceship" in Central Park.

 

Kay Amazing Spider-Man I #192 (1980) Daily Globe secretary.

 

Kay Spider-Man's Tangled Web #11 (2002) Daily Bugle reporter, made date with Peter Parker on the same evening he was dating Jill.

 

Katzenberg, Nick Web of Spider-Man #50 (1989) Unscrupulous photographer, earned J. Jonah Jameson's patronage with photo of Spider-Man apparently committing a crime, sought to prove that Peter Parker was faking his Spider-Man photos, fled from mob pursuers after photographing a mob meeting, died of lung cancer.

 

Keating, Lt. Kris Defenders I #44 (1977) Part of NYC SWAT team, headed task force to fight superhumans, worked with Spider-Man on several cases, eventually killed and impersonated by agents of the Foreigner and then impersonated by the Foreigner himself to frame Spider-Man for the Blaze's murder.

 

Keene UK Spider-Man Annual (1982) Daily Bugle accountant sent by JJJ to offer whatever it would take to get exclusive rights to "Starngore's" story.

 

Keeper of the Flame Avengers I #30 (1966) Controlled the Sacred Flame of Life in the hidden city of El Dorado, one of the three members of They Who Wield Power, killed by Tyrannus.

 

Kelleher, Mary Untold Tales of Spider-Man Annual 1997 (1997) ESU botanist, former assistant of Sundown, lost an arm during his initial rampage, almost targeted by Lucky Lobo to force Sundown's cooperation.

 

Kennedy, Detective Louise Spider-Man:  The Lost Years #1 (1995) Salt Lake City police officer, allied with Tannen crime organization, fell in love with Kaine, killed by him after he learned of her criminal activities.

 

Kessler, Jackie Spectacular Spider-Man II #178 (1991) NYPD officer, partner of Angela Cairn, killed by Vermin.

 

Kevin Peter Parker:  Spider-Man #21 (2000) Occupant of Peter Parker’s refrigerator, allegedly a super-intelligent green mold cultivated by Peter, resembles green cheese, has some level of sentience.

 

Kidnappers Marvel Team-Up I #41 and others (Hostess Twinkies Cakes advertisement, 1976) Two men; abducted May Parker, who was rescued by Spider-Man.

 

Kidnappers Fantastic Four I #229 and others (Hostess Twinkies Cakes advertisement, 1981) Two men; abducted child, who was rescued by Spider-Man.

 

Killer Queen Alpha Flight I #121 (1993) Acrobatic, wields Death Dust, member of the Chess Set.

 

Killer Shrike (Simon Maddicks) Rampaging Hulk I #1 (1977) Received enhanced strength and suit with flight capabilities and energy blasters from the Brand Corporation, served the Conspiracy that was defeated by Ulysses Bloodstone, partnered with the Modular Man against Spider-Man and the Beast, briefly worked for Brand, became mercenary, fought Spider-Man and other heroes.

 

Killraven (Jonathan Raven) Amazing Adventures II #18 (1972) Warrior in alternate timeline, leads fight to free mankind from Martian Masters. Spider-Man once traveled to his time via Doctor Doom’s time machine and fought alongside him.

 

Kim Amazing Spider-Man I #349 (1991) Daily Bugle reporter.

 

Kine, Benedict X-Men Annual II #3 (1994) Mutant able to control others's nervous systems, sought role of White King in Hellfire Club, wagered J. Jonah Jameson's life against Shinobi Shaw, plot foiled by Spider-Man (Reilly) and the X-Men.

 

King, Hannibal Tomb of Dracula I #25 (1974) Vampire detective, enemy of Dracula and other vampires, partner of Blade and Frank Drake in the Nightstalkers, helped Spider-Man against Zzzax and Lilith.

 

King Coal Alpha Flight I #121 (1993) Forms hands into swords, can regrow severed body parts, member of the Chess Set.

 

Kingpin (Wilson Fisk) Amazing Spider-Man I #50 (1967) Powerful crimelord, commands large criminal organization, has had many clashes with Spider-Man, Daredevil, Cloak and Dagger, the Punisher, and others; dedicated to his wife Vanessa, whose health problems have motivated some of his actions; retired from power but was reinstated to control gang activity, almost killed by rebellion led by Sammy Silke with the help of Richard Fisk, returned after recovery to reclaim power, beaten in fight with Daredevil.

Klein, Sarah Spider-Man #38 (1993) Daughter of J. Jonah Jameson's college roommate, treated like a niece by Jameson; head of PR firm which represented Top of New York Hotel when Electro decided to use that building to make a name for himself.

 

Klemmer Amazing Spider-Man Annual I #11 (1977) Special effects director on "Spawn of the Spider," fired after mishap with exoskeleton costume, framed for sabotage by Anton DeLionatus, abducted and drugged by the Spider-Squad.

 

Klemmer, Judith Marvel Team-Up I #36 (1975) SHIELD agent, helped Spider-Man and the Frankenstein Monster against Baron von Shtupf.

 

Knight and Fogg (Malcolm Knight And Thomas Fogg) Spectacular Spider-Man II #165 (1990) British assassins mutated into armored and gaseous forms by experiment of Professor Henry Lewis, killed the Arranger for the Kingpin, tracked to England by Spider-Man, partnership broke down when Fogg nearly killed Knight’s brother Leo.

 

Knight, Misty Marvel Team-Up I #1 (1972) Private detective and former NYPD officer, has bionic arm, works with Misty Knight, lover of Iron Fist, helped Spider-Man against the Steel Serpent.

Krahn, Chief Inspector Spider-Man #8 (1991) Member of Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Vancouver, secretly a pedophile, murdered several boys and attempted to frame the Wendigo before Wolverine and Spider-Man discovered the truth, shot by hunters believing him to be the Wendigo.

 

Kraus, Franz (a.k.a. Frank Cruz) Amazing Spider-Man I #301 (1988) Neo-Nazi, hired Silver Sable to test security and attempted to kill her, sought to conduct major drug deal with the Kingpin to buy Central American land for a new Nazi state, stole prototype military weapons, defeated by Silver Sable and Spider-Man.

 

Kraven the Hunter (Sergei Kravinoff) Amazing Spider-Man I #15 (1964) Obsessive hunter, gained super-strength from mystic potions, targeted Spider-Man early in the hero's career, fought him alone and with the aid of the Chameleon and the Sinister Six; also fought Ka-Zar, Tigra, and other heroes; became obsessed with Spider-Man, buried him alive in order to take over his identity and fight Vermin, committed suicide.

 

Kravinoff, Alyosha "Al" Spectacular Spider-Man II #245 (1997) Son of Kraven the Hunter, possesses mutant strength and ability to control animals, fought Spider-Man, murdered Calypso, briefly joined the Sinister Six, discarded criminal activities, briefly considered career in film production, fought Connie Hunt and others, became vigilante.

 

Kree Fantastic Four I #65 (1967) Blue-skinned alien race, ruled by collective mind known as the Supreme Intelligence, enemies of the Skrulls, worked with the Ruul in the Maximum Security scheme.

 

Krenshaw, Dean Amazing Spider-Man I #244 (1983) ESU administrator, had door webbed by Peter Parker for his boorish behavior.


Krolnek, Heather Spider-Man's Tangled Web #15 (2002) Daughter of Stag Beetle, idolized Spider-Man, followed his battle with Stag Beetle to discover her father's secret.

 

Kryllk the Cruel Marvel Team-Up I #7 (1973) Asgardian rock troll; led troll army and used time-stopping Dark Crystal in attack on Asgard and Earth; foiled by Spider-Man and Thor

 

Kufu Spider-Woman (1979): "Pyramids of Terror" (9/22/79) Alien mummy, sought to transform Earth's inhabitants into mummies, defeated by Spider-Man and Spider-Woman. (TV) 

Kuklin, Dr. Bailey Spectacular Spider-Man II #72 (1982) Psychiatrist to Debra Whitman, approached Peter Parker about breaking her "delusion" that he was Spider-Man.

 

Kulan Gath Conan the Barbarian #14 (1972) Ancient sorcerer from Stygia (now Egypt). Sorcerer over twelve thousand years old, sought to transform modern world into the realm of his era, opposed by Spider-Man and Red Sonja; later transformed Manhattan and killed Spider-Man, but his efforts were reversed by the X-Men; later fought the Avengers.

 

Kull the Conqueror Conan the Barbarian I #1 (1970) Warrior and king during pre-Cataclysmic times, helped Spider-Man when the hero astrally traveled to Kull's era seeking a cure for the bite of a Serpent Man.

 

Kutzov, General Nikolai Marvel Team-Up Annual #2 (1979) Russian spymaster, sought war with the US, had Dr. Daniel Ironwood abducted to work on an anti-matter bomb; sent the Crimson Dynamo, Vanguard, and Darkstar against Spider-Man and the Hulk.

 

Kwan, Terry Amazing Spider-Man II #1 (1999) Tri Corp supervisor and liaison to Chase Foundation, briefly co-worker of Peter Parker.
