Powers/Abilities: Ry’lor is an alien
warrior with many powers. He has powerful psychic abilities including telepathy
and telekinesis. He also can unleash cosmic energy. Ry’lor appears to have
superhuman strength. Since Ry’lor is an alien he many advanced weapons and
inventions at his disposal. He also has his subatomic transformer that can
change molecules into different
molecules.
History: (X-Force I#93 (fb))- Many thousands of years ago Ry’lor was a warrior of the Vyr’lgm’sh dynasty who had spent many years enslaving other races. One day his spacecraft’s warp engine malfunctioned and he was stuck on earth. Ry’lor discovered two warring tribes and for the first time understood foolishness of conquest. He became a peacemaker instead of a conqueror and assumed human form to stop the fighting. He began to improve the two tribes and for a time was worshipped as their sun god. Ry’lor shared with them the secrets of science, but they turned on him when they believed they no longer needed him, using radioactive ore from his homeworld against him. Because of their betrayal Ry’lor lost control and destroyed everyone in the tribe. When his rage subsided he committed penance by exiling himself to an island in the pacific, and he created a field to keep others from that island.

Ry’lor felt the approach of X-Force to his island. When Dani Moonstar was
trapped in his temple. Ry’lor taught her how to control the quantum energy that
was running through her body. He than taught her how to free her friends from
the state of being they were currently in. Once X-Force had defeated Astarte
and Electryon, Ry’lor appeared before X-Force and announced he was going to
begin to atone for his past deeds by helping the races of planets he had ravaged
in the past. He then proceeded give
X-Force a ride back to San Francisco.
(Civil War: Battle Damage Report) - Tony Stark listed Ry'lor as a foreign national, who had been active in the United States.

I thought
Ry’lor was pretty interesting and I think it would be nice to see how he’s
trying to help the people of the world.
Actually, I'm pretty sure he left Earth to help those he
had harmed in the past.
