History: (MOKF I#102): Sends Shang-Chi to
see Dame Peyraud. Dame Peyraud tells Anton to stay. After the
meeting Shang-Chi and Anton Paulve meets with Luciane D-Hiver,
both of them tell Shang-Chi that they believe Dame Peyraud is
deluded regarding the I.D.I.C business, but that she got tons of
enemies in the town after closing her refinery. After dinner,
Anton stands in his window looking down upon Shang-Chi and
Luciane kissing, and is seen armed with a gun.
Later the same night after an attempt on Dame Peyraud’s
life, Shang-Chi is attacked by a man with a mask, Shang-Chi
defeats him and unmasks him, revealing him to be Anton Paulve.
Shang-Chi learns that Anton is not the assassin--only in love
with Luciane. Then Kalougine appears, threatening Anton and
Shang-Chi with a gun, telling them he believes Anton is the
assassin. Anton and Kalougine begin to fight and Anton accidently
kills Kalougine with his knife.
