History: Fialan was a master assassin of the order known as the Ptill Pawob. He was an ally of Lord Visis, who sought to usurp the throne of Jarella.

(Incredible Hulk II#148) - The Sorcerer's Triad (Holi, Moli, and Torla) sent Jarella to Earth to locate the Hulk and bring him back to K'ai to rule at her side and help defend against a recent rash of attacks. Visis learned of this and used his own magic to link to their spell and send Fialan to Earth as well.
A short time before on Earth, Peter Corbeau used the Starcore satellite to harness the power of the sun to purge Bruce Banner of the energy that transformed him into the Hulk. The transport of Jarella and Fialan from their home exacerbated the effects on the sun, which then threatened to go nova within a day's time. Jarella located Banner, and when they learned of this, they had a SHIELD (Supreme Headquarters International Espionage Law-eforcement Division) LMD (Life Model Decoy) made of Jarella. They planned to send the LMD back to her world, repairing the damage to the sun in the process.

Fialan followed Banner and Jarella to Project: Greenskin Base and ambushed them. In order to save them, Banner nuked himself again, and returned as the Hulk. Fialan blasted a volatile, radioactive piece of equipment behind the Hulk and Jarella, which exploded, seemingly killing Jarella. Enraged, the Hulk attacked and slew Fialan. Jarella revealed that is was the LMD, not her, that had been killed. Nonetheless, with the LMD gone, she was forced to return to her own world to prevent the destruction of Earth. Fialan's corpse was sent back to Jarella's World as well, restoring the delicate balance in the sun.

(Hulk Annual 2001) - Fialan "inexplicably returned from the dead seeking to complete his mission" (to slay the Hulk). Under unknown circumstances, Fialan returned to Earth and attacked the Hulk. The Hulk easily overpowered Fialan and his weapon, and left him for the military to collect.

Comments: Created by Archie Goodwin and Herb Trimpe

The first time Fialan came to Earth, Torla's spell allowed him to speak and understand english. How he came to Earth the second time is unknown, but he was no longer speaking english.

Thanks to Daniel Ingram for pointing out the return of Fialan, which I'd forgotten somehow.
