History: (Nomad II#23)- When the mother of the infant girl "Bucky" was sent by Giscard Epurer to infiltrate the white supremacist camp set up by Senator Bartholomew Ingrid outside of Clutier, 88 confronted her, having determined that she was a spy.

(Nomad II#24)- 88 interrogated her, beating her horribly, but she refused to name the person who had sent her, fearful at what Epurer might do to "Bucky." 88 killed her, and strung her body down from a ceiling, wrapped in chains.

When Nomad came to the camp in search of her, he was distracted by her body, and 88 struck him from behind. 88 revealed that he possessed the S.I.C.C.A.E.L. gun, which Nomad had briefly wielded. He tried to shoot Nomad down, but Nomad was able to evade the gunfire, as 88 wound up shooting several of his fellow supremacists. Finally, Nomad got in close and inserted his programming disc into the S.I.C.C.A.E.L. so that it would only respond to his mental commands.

(Nomad II#25)- Now virtually in control of 88 via the S.I.C.C.A.E.L., Nomad had him turn the gun upon his own men, killing them all. Nomad then took out a handgun and shot him in the head, claiming the S.I.C.C.A.E.L. for himself.

Comments: Created by Fabian Nicieza, Rick Mays, Pete Garcia, Fred Fredricks and Greg Adams.

Cisco notes: "Since the character is a member of a white supremacist organization, the number has a special meaning. The eighth letter of the alphabet is H, thus 88 = HH, standing for "Heil Hitler". This is of common use among neo-Nazi groups. So there's a reference there."
