History: (Spider-Man I#44) - The Dealer organized an illegal arms trade between several criminals. He had at some point enlisted the aid of the Hobgoblin for security.  The criminals that had gathered were all checking out the merchandise when Spider-Man interrupted and threatened to shut down the Dealer's whole operation. The Dealer called Hobgoblin to fight Spider-Man, but Spider-Man easily defeated not only Hobgoblin, but all the criminals who had came to buy the illegal arms. However, in the midst of the battle, the Dealer escaped.

Unfortunately for the Dealer, in the middle of his escape a few cops tried to pull his car over. Instead of complying, the Dealer jumped out of his car and started firing away with two humungous guns. He then ran to an abandoned warehouse. He planned to wait until dark and then shoot up the street to create enough confusion for him to escape. But Spider-Man then busted in and knocked out the Dealer with a single punch, and webbed him up for the cops.
