CONTRACT

Real Name: Unrevealed

Identity/Class: Human

Occupation: Mercenary, Assassin

Group Membership: Assassin Nation (Kickback, Manslaughter, Troubleshooter), Corporation

Affiliations: Agent of Karl Malus

Enemies: Agent, Cage, Coldfire, James Lucas sr., Dakota North, Tinkerer

Known Relatives: None

Aliases: None

Base of Operations: currently unknown; formerly Corporation Headquarters, Taylor, Mississippi

First Appearance: Cage I#13 (April, 1993)

Powers/Abilities: Contract can form bands of psycho-kinetic energy which can restrain or contract and potentially crush a victim. These bands can also serve as shields, providing the attack strikes the outside of the rings and doesn't pass through the center. The bands can crush a normal human, but someone with Class 10 or greater strength, such as Cage, can shatter them. Shattering these rings causes a very painful psychic feedback in Contract. Since they are formed by his will, they weaken or dissolve if he is distracted or incapacitated.

History: Uncertain. Contact may or not have been empowered and/or supplied with weaponry by the Corporation, specifically Karl Malus. The source of his training is similarly unknown.

BTS - At some point he became an agent of the Corporation.

(Cage#13(fb)-BTS) - As reported by Malus: Contract, Troubleshooter, and Manslaughter achieved a 92.7% termination success rate as part of the Corporation's Assassin Nation.

(Cage#13) - Contract sat back and watched as Manslaughter decapitated a new agent during a training session.

(Cage#14) - Alongside Troubleshooter, Contract participated in a training session for Coldfire--who defeated them both. Later, when Cage and Dakota North broke in to free the Agent and James Lucas sr, Contract tried to suffocate Cage with a ring. Under Malus' directions, Contract then grabbed James Lucas sr and threatened to kill him, in order to stop Cage. However, this turned Coldfire against them as well, and both Contract and Troubleshooter retreated, "to get reinforcements and seal the perimeter." However, before they could do so, Coldfire blew up the Corporation Headquarters. No sign of Contract was found.
