Colleen wasn't pleased that Lotus blew up the building and confronted her about it at Shadowland. Other Nail members overheard their arguing. Lotus decided to catch him immediately even though Colleen wanted more time to plan it.

Black Lotus became the Nail's new leader and promised to protect them and show Daredevil their value. Colleen returned to free Tig, but Black Lotus, the Nail and a couple of Hand ninjas had already waited for her to leave Shadowland's prison with Tig. Colleen challenged Black Lotus to a fight over leadership of the Nail and Black Lotus was defeated. Colleen spared her life and left Shadowland with Tig and Cherry Blossom while Lotus screamed at them that they never belonged with the Hand and that they were weak.
