(Amazing Spider-Man I#210) - During a board meeting at the Daily Globe, Belinda, acting as K.J., gave Rupert Dockery full control over the paper. Just as she announced this, a group of masked henchmen ran in and kidnapped her, despite Spider-Man's attempted intervention. Held captive in the Hickory Dockery Toy Shop in Manhattan, Belinda was shocked when she heard that Dockery had double-crossed her, and ordered his goons to kill her. Luckily, Spider-Man arrived and rescued her. Betrayed, Belinda told Spider-Man of Dockery's plan, and Spider-Man was able to rescue the real K.J. as well.
