ABCISSA

Real Name: Jubilation Lee

Identity/Class: Extratemporal (Earth-92352) human mutant

Occupation: Enforcer for Mojo

Group Membership: None

Affiliations: Mojo (master), Plasma Wraiths

Enemies: Jubilee (Earth-616)

Known Relatives: same as Jubilee

Aliases: Jubilee (former)

Base of Operations: Currently unknown;
formerly the Mojoverse and the Big Crunch

First Appearance: Wolverine II#52 (March, 1992)

Powers: Abcissa was bound in an iron-like armor covered with spikes. A chain was attached to her mask, with which Mojo would lead her around. Abcissa could whip the chain into loops to bind others. Any other abilities, including her inherent mutant pyrotechnic abilities, were unobserved.

History: (Wolverine II#52-53 - BTS) - The Jubilee who would become Abcissa was captured by Mojo and her future self and brought to the Big Crunch, a name for the final collapse of all matter in the universe, which precedes the next Big Bang. While there, she agreed to become Mojo's slave in exchange for his agreeing not to interrupt the universal cycle by preventing the Big Crunch.

(Wolverine II#52-53) - Now an old woman (or perhaps just aged by her experiences, or by exposure to temporal energy). Abcissa accompanied Mojo to Earth, where they captured the mainstream Jubilee and brought her to the Big Crunch. Jubilee was astounded that Mojo had made such an offer, and said that she would never do that. Mojo unmasked Abcissa revealing that, in fact, she would. Wolverine arrived with a large missile to obliterate Mojo, and Jubilee refused to serve him. At this, Abcissa ceased to exist.

Comments: Created by Larry Hama and Marc Silvestri.

Refer to Jubilee for all events prior to her enslavement by Mojo.

Abcissa is the point represented on the y-axis of a Cartesian planar coordinate system, as opposed to the ordinate. You remember math don't you?
Is Abcissa a (mis)spelling variation of Abcissa? The world may never know...or care.

Slave to Mojo...that's not too appealing...

The rules of time-travel and alternate futures, etc. is so subjective, and Abcissa wasn't an interesting character anyway...nonetheless, there should still be an Abcissa in the timeline that created her.

Clarifications:
The Big Crunch, should not be confused with:
