History:
(Sensational She-Hulk I#23 (fb)) - The woman who would become the Abominatrix was an employee of Jasper Keaton's savings and loan company. Following government deregulation of the S&L industry, Keaton made a large profit with short-term investments. He created a genetic research division which empowered two of his employees, creating the Abominatrix and Captain Rectitude. The Abominatrix was the product of a failed medical experiment (presumably using gamma rays, naturally) to control PMS. Instead, the experiment left her permanently in that condition.

(Sensational She-Hulk I#21 (fb) - BTS) - Keaton sent Abominatrix to break into Louise Mason's apartment to steal all the file on Rosebud. She tore apart Louise's safe and took the file.

(Sensational She-Hulk I#21-23) - Keaton later sent the Abominatrix to kidnap Louise Mason when she went to Las Vegas to talk with former gangster Dutch Rosenblatt. Mason, formerly known as the Blonde Phantom back in the 1940s, had been part of the All-Winners Squad's attempt to prevent gangster Dutch Rosenblatt from stealing the nuclear warhead nicknamed Rosebud. Keaton wanted to learn the current location of Rosebud so he could use it to force the US Senate Banking Committee to give him control of the Savings and Loans. Unfortunately for Keaton, Mason did not know where it was.

(Sensational She-Hulk I#21) - Keaton sent Abominatrix after She-Hulk when he heard that she was in town looking for Louise. Abominatrix mocked She-Hulk during their fight by claiming that her third husband was tougher than She-Hulk. Their fight eventually brought them to the Las Vegas Convention Center where Keaton held a speech for his American Purity Foundation. Keaton urged Captain Rectitude not to interfere in the battle between the two females, but She-Hulk gained the upper hand and Abominatrix revealed that Keaton was her employer and knew where Louise was. Keaton confirmed that he was behind Louise's abduction because he needed to know where the Rosebud atomic bomb was.

(Sensational She-Hulk I#22) - Keaton threatened to have Louise killed by his loyal employees if She-Hulk interfered any further in his plans. Abominatrix was more than willing to crush Louise Mason.

(Sensational She-Hulk I#23) - The Abominatrix guarded Louise Mason in a room at Keaton's Nebuchadnezzar resort while watching soap operas and filing her toenails with a circular saw. She attacked She-Hulk again when she was trying to free Mason. Mason's daughter, now the Phantom Blonde, inadvertently revealed that Rosebud was hidden in a statue in front of Rosenblatt's hotel, the Benchmark and that Rosebud's detonator was connected to Rosenblatt's pacemaker. Keaton immediately headed there with Abominatrix and Captain Rectitude after Abominatrix knocked out She-Hulk by dropping a safe on her.

In Las Vegas Keaton gave a check that made it clear that he planned to detonate the bomb in Las Vegas to purify the city, which even shocked Captain Rectitude and Abominatrix. Surprisingly enough, the aged Rosenblatt died of a heart attack while in a shoot-out with Keaton. Abominatrix once again attacked She-Hulk and while they were fighting inside the fountain in front of the Benchmark She-Hulk succeeded in temporarily incapacitating Abominatrix in time to hurl the missile hidden in front of everyone as part of the statue in the fountain into the empty desert, where it destroyed Keaton's resort headquarters, the Nebuchadnezzar.

Captain Rectitude and the Abominatrix were presumably taken into police custody.
