RIGOR

Real Name: unrevealed

Identity/Class: Human possibly possessed by demon

Occupation: Enforcer for Apocalypse

Affiliations: Demon-Fire, Nevada Sect

Known Relatives: none

Aliases: none

Base of Operations: Gallow's Bend, Nevada

Appearances: Vampire Tales#7 (October 1974), (8

Powers: None to be seen. He used a variety of guns, but was easily overpowered by Morbius.

History: Rigor was one Apocalypse's enforcers, along with Phineas T. Coroner and Reaper I. He appeared to be human, so maybe it was only certain cult members who were empowered by demons. At any rate, he was on hand when Morbius and Amanda Saint arrived in Gallow's Bend. He didn't get any action until close to the end, teaming with Reaper I in an attempt to gun down Morbius. Morbius leapt overtop of him, gave him the fang treatment and he collapsed. Howie Rivers, the owner of Gallow's Bend amusement park, blew up the park to end the threat of Demon-Fire. Rigor was either unconscious or already dead when it blew up, so he didn't seem to likely to make it out of there.

Note: Created by Don McGregor and Rich Buckler. Not a whole lot of development on this guy. He was disgusted by Coroner's constant discussion of maggots.

Clarifications: Rigor is not to be confused with

Rigor Mortis, an agent of D'Kay, @ Ghost Rider III Annual#1/3.
