by her own account, is a "hoot" at parties).
History:
(JLX Unleashed!#1(bts)) - Iceberg joined the JLX soon
after JLX#1. She was a member of the team when the Armageddon Agenda (the legislation that permitted Will Magnus
and his Sentinels to declare war on all metamutants) was passed and was
subsequently thrown into a meta-containment station (prison) with
most of her JLX teammates. Iceberg and the other
incarcerated members of the JLX were freed from prison by the Judgment League: Avenger member known as Wonder
Woman (who was also a metamutant) so
that they could defeat Fin
Fang Flame. As the newest member
of the JLX, Iceberg felt as if she was an outsider who had yet to
prove her worth to the team.
(JLX Unleashed!#1) - "The Inextinguishable Flame!" - In the skies above New York City, Iceberg was aboard theJLX Wavecruiser as the team prepared to battle Fin Fang Flame, who had all but leveled the city. The JLX's plan was to have Iceberg use her cold-generating powers to reduce Fin Fang Flame's body temperature while Nightcreeper teleported inside the demon and destroyed the alien "Techno-Seed" that was supposedly the source of Fin Fang Flame's powers.
The JLX finally went into battle against Fin Fang Flame. JLX member Runaway attempted to use her invulnerability to keep Fin Fang Flame confused while Iceberg moved into position to hit him with a blast of ice. As Iceberg prepared for her attack, she mused to herself that she was finally getting the chance to prove her worth to the JLX. Unfortunately, Fin Fang Flame anticipated her surprise attack and knocked her to the ground with his fiery tail. Fin Fang Flame's assault left Iceberg temporarily unconscious, but Runaway was still able to absorb Iceberg's cold-generating powers. Using Iceberg's powers, Runaway temporarily froze Fin Fang Flame while Nightcreeper teleported inside and obtained the Techno-Seed. As Iceberg regained consciousness, Runaway destroyed the Techno-Seed and Fin Fang Flame's fire was extinguished, causing the demon to come crashing down on the street below.
But Fin Fang Flame was only feigning defeat. The demon claimed that his dependence on the Techno-Seed was overrated. Iceberg and her JLX teammates watched on in horror as the demon re-ignited himself and flew back into the air. Fin Fang Flame was about to kill Iceberg and the rest of the JLX when Apollo crashed the Wavecruiser into the demon and used his metamutant ability to absorb solar radiation to draw the power out of Fin Fang Flame.
